Dolby: Keeping Loyalty

PBN Hill+Knowlton Strategies was retained in December 2014, to serve as Dolby’s outsourced press office in Russia.  Our assignment was to position Dolby as a unique consumer product among influencers and technology media and drive demand for new and updated Dolby technologies among discriminating consumers.

To activate the media influencer campaign, PBN H+K Strategies collaborated with key cinema chains and organized a number of special Dolby Atmos screenings attended by leading tech and consumer media. We announced the opening of new cinemas equipped with new Dolby technologies, as well as launched other products such as TVs, mobile phones, and sound bars. We provided media support to Dolby at Mobile World Congress, CES & IFA. In July 2015, PBN H+K Strategies successfully supported the product demo event of the first smartphone equipped with Dolby Atmos at a Moscow sound mix studio.
